Three years ago, I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury from an accident at work
I have had a lawyer who filed catestrophic and thought I would get a decent sum.
In September of 2009 my Worker's Comp dropped substantially and just recently a doctor could not commit to earlier reports he made concerning the level of the injury so now It looks like no settlement is going to occur. I have other doctor reports that say that me trying to sustain a job would be very difficult and a conflict of interest between two doctors and Worker's Comp occurred.
Any way since my Worker's Comp dropped and I am still suffereing from speech problems, eye sight problems I was not able to pay any of the credit cards I had. Now with the late charges it has bumped my balances way over the limit. I have not used NOR WILL I EVER use a credit card again. I am $8,000 in the hole. I called a few debt mangement places but they charge 30.00 a month and I am affraid with the uncertaintity and how this cse has bottomed out that
I am doomed. I lost my car because I could not afford to fix it -it was 15 years old. I had to move to a extended stay until any money runs out then I am out on the street.
If there is anyone who can help me and save me, I will do anything I can should something if anything evolve from thr case which is now in its' 3 1/4 years.
I am an honest and reliable person, I do not ride the system.
